Sadio Mane, the 31-year-old winger, has secured a lucrative move from Bayern Munich to Saudi Pro League’s Al Nassr. With this transfer, he’ll be earning a staggering £650,000 weekly, which adds up to a tax-free annual income of more than £34m (€40m).

Sadio Mane has left Bayern Munich after one season.

His new contract with Al Nassr extends until 2027, potentially bringing his total earnings to around £136m.

Mane’s journey at Bayern Munich was relatively short-lived, lasting only a year after joining from Liverpool for £35m in a three-year deal.

Unfortunately, he faced a setback when he fell out of favor with the club after an incident where he punched his teammate Leroy Sane following a Champions League defeat by Manchester City.

Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane were involved in a post-match altercation in April

As a result, he was dropped from the squad and fined, missing out on Bayern’s friendly with Kawasaki Frontale in Tokyo during their pre-season tour.

However, his accomplishments at Anfield were remarkable, making 269 appearances and scoring 120 goals across all competitions during his six-year tenure. Mane played a significant role in Liverpool’s triumphs, including the Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup victories.

Now, the talented winger is all set to join Al Nassr and play alongside the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League, embarking on a new chapter in his football career.
