Italian actor Alessandro Lequio recently expressed his criticism towards Hiba Abouk, the estranged wife of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Achraf Hakimi, for demanding a substantial sum of €10 million from the footballer following their split.
Lequio deemed Abouk’s request as treating marriage as a business and expressed his disbelief at the amount she was demanding. The actor also advised her to focus on her own career and return to work.
Lequio shared his thoughts on the matter via Instagram, stating that “Asking for 10 million is considering marriage a business, and that is not right.
She is behaving like the daughter of a Bedouin with a herd and not the successful actress, which is what she was. The key is the following…Did she leave her job because of her husband’s demands or because she didn’t have interesting offers and she felt more comfortable being ‘mistress of’?”
Lequio emphasized that while Hakimi has responsibilities towards their children, Abouk, being a successful and financially stable professional, should focus on her own career and return to work as she did before.
The Italian actor criticized her demand for such a large spousal compensation, stating that it reflects poorly on her character.
Hiba Abouk had been in a relationship with Achraf Hakimi since early 2018 when the footballer was on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid.
Despite her claim to half of Hakimi’s fortune, it is reported that the player does not have any assets registered under his name, and instead, his wealth is allegedly held in his mother’s name, which could potentially exempt him from having to pay the requested amount.
Achraf Hakimi, who is currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain, is a highly regarded footballer known for his skills as a full-back.
The Moroccan international has previously played for clubs such as Real Madrid and Inter Milan, and his performances on the field have earned him recognition and admiration from fans worldwide.
