Israel’s military has uncovered a horrifying scene in a community attacked by Hamas. Local reports state that around 40 babies, some of whom had been beheaded, were discovered by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers in Kfar Aza, one of the areas invaded by Hamas terrorists.

The brutality of the invaders was a clear evidence in this gruesome discovery. IDF personnel were in the process of removing victims’ bodies from the area when they came across the remains of children. Israeli soldiers are now using bones to identify the victims.

Describing the horrific scene, IDF Maj. Gen. Itai Veruv stated, “It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. You see the babies, the mother, the father, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms, and how the terrorists killed them. It’s a massacre.”

On that fateful Saturday morning, Hamas-led forces breached the Israel-Gaza border, perpetrating violence while residents were asleep. The attackers dragged people into the streets, taking some hostage and killing others.

This single day saw over 700 Israelis, including men, women, children, and the elderly, lose their lives in indiscriminate violence, marking the largest terror attack in Israel’s history.

The Israeli army allowed the media access to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, situated near the Gaza border, where residents were murdered, and bodies were left in the streets. Buildings were damaged and some even destroyed. The destruction was accompanied by what was described as “the smell of death.”

This once-vibrant community has now been transformed beyond recognition after the brutal and swift attack. The level of barbarity witnessed was likened to the experiences of Allied forces entering Nazi-controlled areas during World War II.

Many soldiers who were called up for reserve service found themselves consoling each other after witnessing these horrifying scenes. Babies with severed heads and entire families gunned down in their beds were among the grisly sights. About 40 babies and young children were removed on gurneys.

The attackers used guns, grenades, and knives, targeting innocent civilians in their homes. The aftermath was a grim tableau, with charred houses, destroyed properties, and the remnants of a once peaceful life.

The IDF has gained control over Israeli towns and villages, but they remain vigilant against any terrorists who may still operate in the area. The sounds of artillery and rocket fire continue to be heard in the background, as Israel prepares for a possible ground invasion and maintains major airstrikes on Gaza.
